r. Bailey received his D.D.S. degree from The Ohio State University and completed his orthodontic residency at the West Virginia University Medical Center. He served as assistant professor of orthodontics at the University of Colorado before opening his private practice in Salem in 1977. He expanded his services into the Poland-Boardman area in 1987.

He is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, an achievement attained by only 20% of all practicing orthodontists.

He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and the West Virginia Orthodontic Association, for which he has served as president.

Dr. Bailey is an avid golfer, runner and sometimes skier. He and his wife, Suzanne, are natives of the Salem and Youngstown area. They have two children: Perry and Aubrey.
